In 2018, world-renowned DJ and music producer David Guetta purchased a luxurious condo at the prestigious Setai Miami Beach for $9.5 million from billionaire Richard LeFrak. Located on the 37th floor, the property offered Guetta sweeping views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline. Fast forward six years, and Guetta has sold the property for a staggering $16 million, setting a record as the highest priced condo sale per square foot in Miami Beach.
The off-market deal, completed last week, saw an anonymous buyer acquire the 2,525-square-foot unit, which includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms. At $6,337 per square foot, this transaction ranks as not only the highest per square foot in Miami Beach, but also the second-highest in Miami-Dade County for non-penthouse units.
The Setai Miami Beach, known for its exclusivity, provides residents with an array of luxury amenities, including three climate-controlled infinity pools, access to the renowned Valmont spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a Les Clefs d’Or concierge service. The building also allows short-term rentals, offering potential for income generation. During his ownership, Guetta reportedly rented the unit for up to $28,000 per week or $50,000 per month.
The condo’s open-concept design, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, showcases panoramic ocean views. It boasts a spacious balcony, a light-filled primary suite with an ensuite bath, and Sonos speakers integrated throughout the property.
With its prime location, high-end amenities, and record-breaking sale price, David Guetta’s former Miami Beach condo represents the epitome of luxury living in South Florida.
