The founder of Solid Grooves revealed that his latest scan results are “all clear,” marking a significant milestone three months after being declared cancer-free in December, following six months of treatment. Taking to Instagram on Monday night, March 18th, he posted a voice message from his medical provider delivering the update, accompanied by videos of him joyfully dancing and celebrating the positive news.
“In context, this means I can now cease all medication and finally begin to live a more ‘normal’ life,” Bibi captioned the post. “Music has been a healing force for me every day, and I sense that I am nearing the opportunity to reconnect with all of you. I was hesitant to commit to additional shows that I couldn’t fulfill, but today’s news is a green light, and I genuinely cannot wait to dance with you all once again.”
Among those extending their well wishes in the Instagram comments were Special Request, Deborah De Luca, Tiesto, Andrea Olivia, The Martinez Brothers, Nicola Moudaber, and Paris Hilton.
Having disclosed his central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma diagnosis in June 2023, Bibi has already planned his comeback to the DJ scene with his forthcoming One Life world tour. While the complete 2024 tour itinerary has yet to be announced, it appears likely that he will expand the tour to include “extra shows” now that he has received the “all clear.” Thus far, the London DJ has disclosed that he will headline a 45,000-capacity outdoor event at Finsbury Park on July 6th.
