Sushi&Sound Records is born, the record label redefining the concept of sensory experience through the fusion of haute cuisine and quality house music. Born from the entrepreneurial vision of Lello Mascolo and realized thanks to the strategic partnership with Kdope Srl, the label will make its official debut during Milan Music Week and Midance with a vinyl EP that perfectly embodies the project’s philosophy.
The debut album features four tracks united by a refined and elegant house theme: “Vision” by Benny Camaro opens the dance floor with hypnotic atmospheres, followed by “Majeed” by Aares, which elevates the groove with soulful touches. “Sol Alma (Giangi Cappai Remix)” by FrankO Morraghi raises the temperature towards deep and sophisticated territories, while “Lucky to Be Me” by Mood Collective closes the journey with a note of pure soulful house.
“This EP embodies exactly what we want to communicate: music for discerning palates, profound writing that accompanies a complete gourmet experience,” says Lello Mascolo, the label’s artistic director and a veteran DJ. “Each track was selected like a signature dish, designed to create the perfect atmosphere where music and cuisine blend seamlessly.”
Sushi&Sound Records is more than just a record label, it’s a true cultural ecosystem that includes exclusive compilations, curated playlists, monthly podcasts, and what will soon be the famous “Wow Box,” a kit combining music tastings and limited-edition merchandise. The project features hybrid events where gourmet dinners intertwine with DJ sets and live showcases, transforming every evening into a unique multisensory experience.
The launch event will be held on Friday, December 21st at Sushi&Sound (Piazza Ventiquattro Maggio, 1/10, 20122 Milan – Tel.: 02 3670 4842) during Midance and Milan Music Week 2025.
