The Italian-American DJ and producer Anyma has released his new single titled “Hypnotized” in collaboration with global superstar Ellie Goulding.
The ethereal-sounding track delves into the internal struggle of resisting feelings for someone, only to realize that these emotions resurface even more with every attempt to suppress them.
“Hypnotized” is characterized by powerful basslines and seductive synths that evolve throughout the song, interspersed with progressive melodic lines. Thanks to Ellie Goulding’s hypnotic vocals, the single transports listeners into an immersive musical world, creating an almost moving emotional experience.
A stunning music video accompanies the track, premiered during Anyma’s residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Ellie Goulding also took the stage to perform the song live for the first time (video available here).
Afterlife Presents Anyma’s “The End of Genesys” Residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas kicked off on December 27, 2024, with six completely sold-out shows and will continue on January 10 and 11, 2025. It marks the first residency at the Sphere by an electronic music artist and has featured notable musical guest artists. A leader in this musical genre thanks to his critically acclaimed albums Genesys and Genesys II, Anyma is a multidisciplinary project by Matteo Milleri, blending art, technology, and music.
As the first electronic music artist to perform at the Sphere, Anyma collaborated on the show with artistic and visual co-creative director Alessio de Vecchi, executive producer and stage designer Alexander Wessely, executive producer for classical music compositions and robotic orchestra Jacob Mühlrad, and the animation studio Woodblock for additional production.
The Sphere’s next-generation technologies, including the world’s highest-resolution LED display and the advanced Sphere Immersive Sound concert audio system powered by HOLOPLOT, are combined with Anyma and Afterlife’s signature production style. Fans at the concerts experience a sensory blend of innovative visuals and sounds that push the boundaries of what is possible.
