Sagi Rei is an Israeli musician, naturalized Italian, born in Tel Aviv in 1972. In 2005 came his great success, the acoustic reinterpretation project of some of the most famous dance hits of the nineties, “Emotional Songs”, published in more than 15 countries and among the 100 best-selling albums in Italy thanks also to the remake of “L’Amour Toujours (I’ll Fly With You)” chosen, in 2009, as the musical accompaniment of the famous Intimissimi commercial.

In 2008 “Trilogy” was released, an album composed of three unreleased songs. In 2010 “Sagi sings Michael Jackson” was released by Universal Music. Mario Biondi called him for the album “Duets” in 2011. In 2012 he also created the soundtrack for “Area Paradiso”, a film by Diego Abatantuono. In 2014 he performed “Diamonds Jade & Pearls” produced by Umberto Iervolino and dedicated to the music of the 80s.

In 2015 Sagi renewed his collaboration with Mario Fargetta with the single “Sing It Loud”. In 2017 she performed in a double evening at the Blue Note in Milan where she recorded her first live album, “Emotional Songs Live From Blue Note Milano”. In 2019 his first album of unreleased songs, “Original Songs”, was released together with his wife Elena, singer and pianist. The album is presented live with a tour.
